Douglas Jacobsen | Chairman of the Board, JH Capital Group
Douglas Jacobsen is the Chief Executive Officer of Jacobsen Holdings and the Chief Executive Officer of JH Portfolio Debt Equities, LLC, DBA, JH Capital Group (www.jhcapitalgroup.com). He is also the Chairman of the Board of Credit Control, LLC, Global EDGE, LLC, and a Managing Director of Credit Max.
Mr. Jacobsen was a founder and principal of a well-known western U.S. development company, Realty Bancorp Equities, LLC, (“RBE”). At RBE, Mr. Jacobsen was the driving force behind the development of over $450,000,000 of retail, office and industrial properties. In 2000, he started his own development company, Jacobsen Holdings, LLC, and continues to manage and develop real estate primarily in Southern California. Jacobsen Holdings, LLC currently owns shopping centers anchored by nationally known retailers such as Best Buy, Home Depot, Albertsons, and Walgreens.

Jay Cherry | President & Co-Founder – Email Jay
Mr. Cherry has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and risk management industries. Prior to founding Global EDGE, he held the position of Vice President of Global Operations for a publicly-traded financial services company. In this role, he had full oversight of a $230 million P&L , headcount exceeding 1,400, and four business units across the U.S. and India. Mr. Cherry also led the successful start-up and growth of an international company, which now ranks as the 37th Most Desirable Company to Work For in India.
Throughout his career, Mr. Cherry has demonstrated uncompromising ability in building innovative and efficient processes which drive long-term and sustained organizational value, as well as managing the direct turn-around of distressed organizations.
Mr. Cherry is a United Stated Marine Corps veteran, having served five (5) years for his country. He is a graduate of Faulkner University with a BA in Business Administration, holds a Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma Methodology and is a graduate of the ABA School of Bank Card Management at the University of Oklahoma.
Todd Harrington | Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel – Email Todd
Mr. Harrington brings over 25 years of technical, legal and operational experience to the company. He is responsible for all operational and legal activity and has served in similar capacities in both privately held and publicly traded companies.
Prior to Global EDGE, Mr. Harrington initially served as COO and General Counsel and then President and CEO of a multi-million dollar technology company, responsible for executing the strategic vision of the company and developing and structuring all strategic relationships and opportunities. Mr. Harrington is also licensed to practice law in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and spent many years in private practice before entering executive management.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Harrington was an electrical engineer, working for several aerospace companies on NASA and DOD contracts.
John Nokes | Chief Information Officer - Email John
Mr. Nokes is a technical business executive with hands-on experience in virtualizing and automating multi-million dollar enterprises and a successful record in creating robust technology teams and infrastructure. With 11 years of financial industry experience, managing network and data security within strict FCP guidelines, Mr. Nokes implements IT solutions to overcome business issues, while managing costs and risks. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Nokes served six years for his country.
Cheryl Patton, PMP | Director of Operations – Email Cheryl
Mrs. Patton has more than 20 years leadership experience driving teams to grow the strategic utilization and deployment of information technology to support operational functions. Her experience in the management of specialized projects, business strategies, and change management, has been proven through execution of technical and operational projects, driving successful service level and revenue objectives.
Mrs. Patton graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul, MN with a BA in Information Technology Management, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Lisa LaDou, CFE | Director of Risk Management – Email Lisa
Ms. LaDou, is the Director of Risk Management at Global EDGE. She develops reports and analytics specific to the fraud risk to an organization, as well as coaching and training clients on fraud prevention. Lisa has been instrumental in the development of the Global EDGE Fraud Platform with her years of experience in Fraud Investigation within the insurance industry and as a Certified Fraud Examiner. She has received numerous awards for Fraud Investigation, including one from a Fortune 500 company.
Rick Winters | Relationship Manager – Email Rick
Mr. Winters, is the Relationship Manager Global EDGE. Mr. Winters is the first client contact for program updates and assistance, providing guidance through the registration process and ensuring Client Satisfaction with Global EDGE and the services provided. Mr. Winters has extensive customer service and management experience and attended St. John’s University in St Joseph MN for Business Management.
Prior to joining the staff in 2012 Mr. Winters was the Operations Manager for a third party debt collection company. Mr. Winters has 13 years of experience in customer service and client relations. Eight of those years are with the largest publicly traded distressed debt company in the Nation, Encore Capital. While at Encore Capital Mr. Winters was instrumental in the launch and training of the India call center that is now ranked in the top 40 most desirable employers in India
